Father & Son.

"...that thought alone

sustains me."

“This is my son. This is my tire shop. One day I will hand my tire shop down to my son; that thought alone sustains me.”

They sat there in silence, emotion growing stronger with every play. A slab of wood with scattered dominoes being held up by staked crates owned their attention. It was the son’s goal to beat his father and it was the father’s goal to ensure that his son never came close to that goal.

Despite the outcome they both smiled at the end, illustrating that a smile between a father and son could say more than words ever could.

- black ingenuity.
