“People’s sympathy for my ‘condition’ always confuses me. They see me as a homeless man who has given up on happiness and trying to ‘make it’ in life but I see it differently. I’m a man with many homes who has given into true happiness and trying to make it my life.”

I’ll admit it, his words ran counter to my hypothesis about him. As he spoke his truth to me I couldn’t help be reminded of paradigm articulated by one of my favorite philosophers; “at the zoo, most animals think the people who visit are the true spectacle.”
